Karmacharya
Kaushila Khanal Karmacharya is a seasoned Taekwondo master, community leader, and passionate advocate for youth and women's empowerment. With over 25 years of experience in martial arts, she is the owner and head instructor of Sunshine Taekwondo Academy, where she has trained hundreds of students in both traditional and competitive Taekwondo.
Originally from Nepal and now based in Ohio, Kaushila is also the founder of Sunshine Care Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting underprivileged communities through education, self-defense, and life-skills programs. Her work combines physical discipline with emotional and social empowerment, creating safe and inclusive spaces for children, women, and families to thrive.
Her deep commitment to service, mentorship, and community-building continues to leave a lasting impact across cultural boundaries. Through every class she teaches and every initiative she leads, Kaushila inspires strength, confidence, and purpose in the lives she touches.

Som Acharya
Master Som Acharya, a 3rd Dan Black Belt and certified Assistant Master, boasts 20+ years of Taekwondo instruction. For five years, he's been a vital part of Sunshine Taekwondo in Reynoldsburg, excelling in technical expertise and mentoring. An International Master and USA Referee, he also leads community self-defense and fitness programs. His disciplined approach inspires students to reach their full potential.​

Master Binod Gurung, a 3rd Dan Black Belt and Assistant Master, brings over two decades of martial arts expertise to Sunshine Taekwondo in Reynoldsburg. Birka Subba is a dedicated martial artist with over 20 years of experience in the field of Taekwondo. Holding a 2nd Dan Black Belt, he has spent decades mastering traditional techniques, teaching students, and promoting discipline, respect, and physical fitness through martial arts.
Throughout his journey, Birkha has played a key role in training youth and supporting community-based martial arts programs. His calm leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to personal development make him a respected figure among students and peers alike.

Radhika actively trains students of various ages and skill levels, focusing on building confidence, fitness, and self-defense abilities. Her approachable teaching style and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment make her a valued mentor within the Taekwondo community.
